If you are ordering Russian Pointe or Grishko pointe shoes, there could be delays in order(s) shipping. If we do not have the size/style in stock, it could take up to 12-16 weeks for arrival. Our website will allow purchases to go through if the size/style is in stock OR if it is on order currently with the supplier. It is highly recommended that you order in advance and more than one pair. Delays are a reality with many pointe shoe brands right now. Please reach out to us prior to placing your order if you have any questions regarding what is in stock versus what will be delayed. We thank you for your patience.

Who We Are
The London Dance Shoppe opened its doors in 1995 on Dorinda Street, London ON. The founding owner, Karen Smith, established the Shoppe’s reputation for providing the proper fit of pointe shoes and dance apparel. Over the years, the Shoppe expanded and moved to Wortley Village, adding many speciality dance wear brands and providing professional fittings and exceptional customer service. Former owner, Christina Cannella and current owner, Danielle Cameron, moved the store to a small loft boutique at 245 Maitland street. After a few years on Maitland, more space was needed. In December 2019, the Shoppe moved back to Wortley Village to a beautiful white and bright upper level boutique – 142 Wortley Road. In addition to in store fittings, The Shoppe offers in Studio Fittings and Catering for groups and competitive dancers. We pride ourselves in loving what we do and ensuring the proper fit for every dancer we help.

It was a great shopping experience for my current needs. Even after a mistake was made (definitely more my fault than anyone else’s), the owner helped me above and beyond what would be expected to make sure I had tights in time for competition for my daughter. The prices were great, and staff friendly, and the shoppe itself is clean, quiet and cozy.

“To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful. This is power, it is glory on earth and it is yours for the taking.”
