Shoppe Policy & Shipping Information

The London Dance Shoppe Store Policy:

As a speciality store, we gladly accept exchanges or store credit of in-store or online purchases within 30 days for most items when accompanied by a receipt, is unworn and in original re-sellable condition.

As a speciality Shoppe, we offer a store credit or exchange only and do not offer refunds on purchases and orders. This also pertains to items that are on order and have been reserved for a customer. If there is a request to cancel an order and the item has already shipped to us from the supplier, we can happily issue a store credit that will not expire and can be used online or in Shoppe. 

Pointe Shoes & Special Order products: Pointe Shoes and select items indicated as a special order or pre-order are considered a speciality item and are never discounted. Whether they are in stock or we have to order them in, we do not issue refunds on these purchases, only store credit OR exchanges. Please email if you have inquiries about sizing on these specific items. Please be mindful that there can be unforeseen delays on special order items with suppliers. ( For exchanges, they must be unworn, no ribbons/elastics sewed on and in their original new state) 

Regular stocked tights can be exchanged when in UNOPENED and un-torn packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. Tights without a proof of purchase, or that were not purchased within the last 30 days are not eligible for exchange or store credit.

Final mark down items
Clearance/Sale priced merchandise
Any returns without a receipt will be credited at the last sale or promotional price.

If we do not currently have the item in stock that you have requested, please expect an extra from 7-14 business days for arrival, unless there are further backorders, then this timeframe could be longer, in which we will communicate this with you via email and keep you updated. Some of our suppliers are more back logged with production and they are working very hard to fulfill our orders. We recommend that if there is a specific item you know you will need that is backordered, to order well in advance so that we can reserve for you upon arrival.

SHIPPING & Online Exchanges:

Free Canada Post expedited shipping (Canada wide) on orders of $200+ [excludes orders that are over-sized] / Worldwide Shipping.

Live in London ON? Choose the pick up in store option at check out and you can pick up your order during our Shoppe Hours!

International Shipping Untracked Option:

'We offer a shipping rate at a lower cost via 'Untracked air packet mail' internationally for small sized orders.  Please note: If you have selected 'no tracking air packet mail' as your mailing option a tracking number will not be included. We do not assume responsibility of the package should it become delayed or lost in transit.'



Please allow a processing time of approximately 24 hours once your online order is placed for us to prepare it. Even if you choose Xpress shipping, we do need this time frame to fulfill your order as a small business. Once we have prepped the order, it will leave by the following business day. Please keep in mind holidays and weekends when factoring in shipping times.

If you receive your online order and you need to exchange for a different size, please email us to obtain a return shipping label at: We offer return shipping labels for exchanges within Canada only. For International exchanges, the return shipping fee is not covered. Once we receive the item that has been shipped back for exchange (must be returned to us in its original NEW condition within 30 days) we will ship the new requested size out. 

Once the item is shipped backed to us, we will send the new item! (Final sale items are not applicable for exchanges) 

Back Orders: If we do not have the item you have ordered currently in stock, it will arrive to us from the supplier within 7-14 business days and then shipped to you. We will notify you if this occurs. However, at times, there are uncontrollable circumstances, where the supplier may indicate that the product is back ordered on their end and give an estimated arrival time. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as we are aware of this to let you know the new estimated time of arrival. 

We gladly accept exchanges or store credit for online purchases within 30 days for most items once they are returned to The London Dance Shoppe. Items must be un-worn and in original re-sellable condition.

Manufacturer Warranties:
Manufacturers’ warranties vary upon brand and type of product. If you believe the product you have purchased through The London Dance Shoppe has a manufactures’ defect policy. Please contact us immediately. LDS is committed to ensuring products function the way they are supposed to and we will deal with the manufacturer on your behalf. It is important you contact us without delay so that we will be equipped to best serve you as many manufacturers’ warranties have limitation on the amount of time since purchase and amount of wear and tear.
